Dam of Lucky Bubbles to Sell at MM National

Media Release - Wednesday May 10
Quality Hong Kong sprinter Lucky Bubbles has scored a timely breakthrough at Group One level, winning a competitive Chairman's Sprint Prize (1200m) at Sha Tin on Sunday.

Lucky Bubbles - Grant CourtneyThe son of Gold Coast Yearling Sale graduate Sebring was sent out the second elect in the big race and proved too strong in a driving finish to win by a neck.

Lucky Bubbles, now the winner of eight races, is from the stakes performed Hussonet mare Bubble Below (Lot 1086), a grand producing mare who will go under the hammer at the upcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

The Kevin Hayes Stakes runner-up has produced four foals at stud - three have raced and all are winners.

To be presented at the sale as part of the Riversdale draft, Bubble Below heads to the Gold Coast having been served last spring by Lucky Bubbles' sire Sebring.

Bubble Below is a half sister to the stakes winner Lunaspur and stakes placegetters Lunasong and Lavishly. She is also a three quarter sister to Group Two winner Colorado Claire (dam of Gunnison) and the stakes placed Moonlight Hussey.

Other weekend feature races also provided nice updates for the National Broodmare Sale - which commences on May 30.

Quality Snitzel mare Miles of Krishan (Lot 747) added a valuable Group Two placing to her record in Saturday's Queen of the South Stakes at Morphettville.

A proven city winner in Melbourne, Miles of Krishan is a half sister to the Group One winner Il Quello Veloce and stakes winner Donna Cattiva.

Miles of Krishan's half sister Jemerica (Lot 1298) is also in the sale and heads to auction after being served by Pierro in her second season at stud.

Proven Group Two winner Jessy Belle (Lot 728) added another black type placing to her impressive record when she ran third in Saturday's listed Lord Mayor's Cup at Rosehill.

The daughter of Rock of Gibraltar, a winner of the Matriarch Stakes in November, has now won over $784,000 for connections.

One of most impressive performances on a metropolitan track on Saturday came from untapped three-year-old filly Divine Quality at Flemington.

The daughter of Sepoy is unbeaten in two runs for Robbie Griffiths and stakes races are now on the agenda.

Divine Quality is the second foal for Nun Faster (Lot 1458), a Fastnet Rock mare who heads to the Gold Coast for Woodside Park Stud after being covered by Vancouver in September.
