Farm's Domesday added a new stakes horse to his tally at Morphettville on
Saturday when progressive four year-old Have Another Glass chased classy mare
Amelie's Star home for second in the Group II SAJC Queen of the South Stakes.
Trained by Sue Jaensch at Naracoorte, Have Another Glass has been on a sharp
upward trajectory since the start of the year reeling off four successive wins
before tackling her first Black Type assignment on Saturday.
She rose to the challenge to be beaten just half a length in the 1600 metre
feature, taking her overall record to six wins from 10 starts with prizemoney
topping $134,000.
Retained to race by her breeder, Have Another Glass is the best of three
winners from winning Generous (IRE) mare Generous Tristanna, a daughter of
stakes-placed stayer Lady Tristanna.
Have Another Glass looks like a future stakes-winner for Domesday along with
current season horses Daysee Doom and Ruthven.
Completely free of Danzig blood, Domesday stands at a fee of $8,800.
