the third Saturday in a row, Your Song has produced a metropolitan winner with
Morphettville winner Tabbing following on from Doomben winner Bold Kingston and
stakes-winner Split Lip.
Prepared by Jon O’Connor, Tabbing was narrowly beaten last start and quickly
made amends to win the 1050 metre scamper by three-quarters of a length.
A modest $13,000 Magic Millions Weanling purchase from the Kambula Stud draft,
Tabbing has now won two of six starts earning over $100,000 in prizemoney.
Tabbing is the first winner for good metro winning Exceed and Excel mare
Tabulated, a half-sister to Group II winner Tally from stakes-winner Itemise
(USA).
With seven winners on the board headed by stakes-winner Split Lip, Your Song is
the leading Australian first season sire by winners.
A Group I winning son of Fastnet Rock he stands at Widden Stud this spring at a
fee of $22,000.
