Rich Hill Stallion Service Fees 2017

International Group One-winning miler VADAMOS heads Rich Hill Stud's 2017 stallion roster with the son of the celebrated Monsun to stand at a service fee of $15,000 + GST.

VadamosVadamos competed at the highest level in both hemispheres winning the Gr.1 Prix Du Moulin before retiring this year to Tally-Ho Stud (Ireland) and Rich Hill. Timeform Rated 126, he was named as the 2016 Champion Older Horse in France in the Longines World's Best Racehorse Rankings announced on January 24.

An exceptional physical type, he is a son of the legendary German stallion MONSUN, who has sired three of the last four Melbourne Cup winners.

Vadamos is from one of the world's greatest international families and is considered to be Monsun's fastest and best bred sire-son.

Dual Group One-winning Street Cry sire-son SHOCKING continues his quest to become one of Australasia's next great classic sires. He stands this year for $12,500 + GST.

An exciting youngstallion, Shocking bred 142 mares in 2016. 

ShockingHe is already sire of 10 stakes performers, including first-crop Group winners Fanatic (Gr.1 New Zealand Oaks), The Hassler (Gr.2 ARC Championship Stakes),Chocante (Gr.3 Counties Cup), and Gr.1 Metropolitan runner-up Antonio Giuseppe.
Shocking's yearlings have also sold up to $300,000 in 2017.
Gai Waterhouse's former star three-year-old PROISIR stands again at $7,000 + GST.

By Champion sire Choisir out of Prophet Jewel bychampion broodmare-sire Encosta De Lago, Proisir's brother Divine Prophet won the 2016 Gr.1 Caulfield Guineas and his yearling half-sister sold for $1.2 million at the 2017 Sydney Easter Sale.

Exceptionally popular at stud, Proisir bred 145 mares in 2015 and 133 in 2016. He has an outstanding line up of first-crop foals, 21 heading to next month's Karaka Mixed Sale.
Thorn Park's five-time Group One winning son JIMMY CHOUX will stand at $7,000 + GST.

The Champion New Zealand first season sire of 2015-16, Jimmy Chouxhas sired 15 first-crop winners includingstakes performers Manolo Blahniq, What Choux Want and Cobblertothestars.

His second-crop includesunbeaten two-year-old Bostonian, a full-brother to Chris Waller's smart three-year-old Chaussure andrated an excitingclassic prospectby trainer Tony Pike.
PENTIRE again affords breeders awonderful opportunity standing for $10,000 + GST.

The Champion sire is New Zealand's leading active sire of Group One winners. Chenille took him to a current total of fifteen individual winners at the elite level following her March Gr.1 Auckland Cup success.

Pentire has sired a total of 47 stakes winners, his sire versatility evident with Group One stakes wins by his progeny coming over distances ranging from 1200m to 3200m.

Pentire's 2017 book will be strictly limited to 50 mares with breeders advised to book now to secure their Group One breeding opportunity.
