I Am Invincible had five yearlings average $622,000 to lead the sire averages from established super sires Fastnet Rock (5 sold $600,000) and Redoute's Choice (9 sold $543,333).
Top seller for I am Invincible at $1.6 million was also the most expensive colt of the session.
Consigned by Segenhoe Thoroughbreds, the colt from Captivating Claire certainly captivated buyers with James Harron Bloodstock securing the youngster, who comes from the legendary Eight Carat (GB) family.
The sale continues a great Easter run for Segenhoe, which was the vendor of last year's top lot, the Snitzel half-brother to Winx that made $2.3 million.
"Every good judge in the country was on him but I never thought he'd make that amount,'' Peter O'Brien said.
"To have James Harron buy him, who's not only a good friend but I think the best judge in the business, we're just delighted.''
Segenhoe would be doubly thrilled with the sale given Captivating Claire has a weanling filly by I Am Invincible and is back in foal to him again.
The result was a new benchmark for I Am Invincible, who produced his first million dollar yearling when his colt from Soorena topped the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale this year at $1.4 million.
The star performer for Fastnet Rock was a cracking filly from Fleur de Here that made $1,150,000 for Newgate Farm when secured by Cloud 9 Thoroughbreds.
She is a three-quarter sister to stakes-winner Zamzam, who was placed in the Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes.
Fleur de Here has a filly to follow by Snitzel and is in foal to Redoute's Choice.
Turning 21 this year, Redoute's Choice produced the highest priced offering of the session with his stunning filly from Court fetching $1.8 million for Newhaven Park when snapped up by Tim Stakemire for Sheikh Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum.
The half-sister to Group I winner English is a rare gem (pictured below) that will be trained by Tony McEvoy.
Court produced her fourth filly last spring when delivering a filly by Snitzel.
Another stallion whose service fee has been increased this year is Written Tycoon (rising to $88,000) and while he didn't post an average given he only had one yearling sell, that yearling did give him a new benchmark when selling for $1million.
Bred and sold by Turangga Farm, the colt was also bought by James Harron Bloodstock and is the first foal of juvenile stakes-winner Brilliant Bisc, who was bought by Turangga's Stuart Ramsey for just $11,000 at the Inglis Select Weanling Sale back in 2011.
Brilliant Bisc has a colt to follow by I Am Invincible and was covered last year by Lonhro's Group I winning son Exosphere.
