Three
Bridges Thoroughbreds foundation sire Stryker continued his strong results for
the month of March when promising three year-old Greviste made it two wins from
four starts when scoring at Sandown.
The Mitchell Freedman trained three year-old gelding broke his maiden at
Ballarat last start and then went right on with it to post a long neck win over
1400 metres.
A $36,000 Inglis Premier Session II purchase for Freedman from the Three
Bridges draft, Greviste is the third winner for Chartilla, a half-sister to
stakes-winner Galvanized, the dam of star Tasmanian stakes-winning filly Hot
Dipped.
A proven source of winners and stakes-winners as the sire Group I Ne Zealand
Derby winner Rangipo, Stryker has had yearlings sell for up to $140,000 this
year.
Making it a winning double for Three Bridges sold horses was three year-old
Sebring filly Sedanzer, who scored her third win from six starts at Newcastle
for the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable.
She was a $125,000 Magic Millions purchase for Bluebloods Thoroughbreds from
the Three Bridges draft and was also bred by Three Bridges and is a half-sister
to stakes-placed So Detached from Voltdanze, a half-sister to Group I winner
Dealer Principal.
Voltdanze was covered last year by Unencumbered.
