Inglis Easter Start Times Amended

Media Release - Tuesday March 28

The starting times for the three days of next week's Australian Easter Yearling Sale (April 4-6) have been amended, with action now to start at midday each day.

The alteration comes following a request from Aushorse Australia and the Thoroughbred Breeders Association, to allow greater time to inspect Easter yearlings and the 92 Lots catalogued for the inaugural The Chairman's Sale Session II (Elite Breeding Prospects), which begins at 5pm on Friday April 7.

For those attending the sales over the next fortnight, it is important to be aware of roadwork projects happening near the Newmarket complex that may impact your journey.

Parking is also limited at Newmarket and we encourage clients and visitors to take advantage of the free parking and shuttle bus transport available at Royal Randwick in the infield from this coming Sunday (April 2) until the end of the Easter Yearling Sale (April 4-6).

The Randwick infield carpark can be accessed off High St, Randwick.

Meanwhile a one-hour Bred To Win special previewing the Australian Easter Yearling Sale will be broadcast on Sky Thoroughbred Central (Ch528) at 9pm tonight.

It comes following confirmation Sky Channel will broadcast live all three days of next week's Australian Easter Yearling Sale from Newmarket.

Andrew Bensley and Caroline Searcy will host the coverage, which will cover every Lot offered and provide in-depth analysis and interviews of all the influencers throughout the sale.

Bred To Win will be replayed on Sky Thoroughbred Central (Ch 528) tonight at 11pm, tomorrow (Mar 29) and Thursday (Mar 30) at 7am, Saturday (Apr 1) at 11.30pm, Sunday (Apr 2) at 8am and 10.30pm and Monday (Apr 3) at 7am.
