It can be viewed online here and will be arriving to letterboxes in April.

The Sale will this year be compacted into two action-packed days of selling on the 8th and 9th of May, with a total of 484 horses catalogued. GingernutsThe quality of this Sale has been spectacularly showcased on the Group 1 stage on both sides of the Tasman in recent weeks by Gingernuts (NZ) (Iffraaj), who was knocked down to a $5000 bid made by Phill Cataldo at the 2014 Sale. Now raced by his Ready to Run Sale purchasers Te Akau, Gingernuts has won the Group 2 Avondale Guineas, Group 1 New Zealand Derby and Group 1 Rosehill Guineas in his last three starts.

I Am A Star (NZ) (I Am Invincible) has been a headline performer in her own right, purchased for $12,000 at the 2014 Sale and the winner of four stakes races including last October's Group 1 Myer Classic at Flemington.

Other Group-winning National Weanling, Broodmare & Mixed Bloodstock Sale graduates this season include Mackintosh (NZ) (Pins) who won the Group 2 Theo Marks Stakes, Our King Sway (NZ) (Danroad) winner of the Group 3 Taranaki Cup, and Pump Up the Volume (NZ) (Savabeel) winner of the Group 3 New Zealand Cup.

There is an abundance of quality in this year's catalogue too, with siblings to Group 1 winners Zabrasive, Xtravagant, Darci Brahma, Great Command, Prized Gem, Booming, Fully Fledged, The Mighty Lions, Recurring, Lady Madonna, Art Success, Cheeky Choice, Kindacross, Vespa, Romantic Touch, Veloce Bella, Distant View and Eileen Dubh.

This year's Sale will feature a broad range of sires, with weanlings by 62 different sires. The current top five sires in New Zealand all have weanling progeny in the catalogue – Savabeel (4), Iffraaj (6), Darci Brahma (5), Tavistock (7) and Pins (11).

Jimmy Choux and Proisir have the equal most weanlings in the catalogue with 21, followed by the late Ferlax (18), exciting youngster Jakkalberry (14), proven sire Showcasing (13), the late Atlante (12), Ocean Park (12), Rock 'n' Pop (12) and He's Remarkable (10).

Showcasing their first crop of foals are Atlante (12), Charm Spirit (1), El Roca (6), Giant's Steps (3), Proisir (21) and Sacred Falls (7).

Selling begins at 10am each day on the 8th and 9th of May at Karaka. All supplementary Lots will be sold after the last Lot in that category to go through the ring e.g. supplementary Weanlings will be offered after the last catalogued Weanling in Lot 295. Supplementary entries close 1 May 2017.
