JHB Syndications and James Cummings Join Forces

Media Release - Wednesday March 1

JHB Syndications are delighted to announce that they have joined forces with Group I winning trainer James Cummings with four precocious yearling fillies heading to Leilani Lodge at Randwick.

Cummings joins Bjorn Baker, Lindsay Park Racing, Tony McEvoy and Toby Edmonds as trainers for JHB Syndications.

Of the partnership JHB Syndications director Dean Elliott said, "James Cummings is a star on the rise. In a short space of time he's already responsible for Group One winners of the Champagne Stakes, VRC Derby, Golden Rose and Randwick Guineas, to firmly established himself in the upper-echelon of Sydney trainers. As such we're excited to partner-up with James on four exceptional fillies, three of which are from the Gold Coast Magic Millions and one from the Inglis Classic Sale. Each were selected by James Harron with an eye towards precocity, durability and speed, and as a result they've all pleased us in their early education to date."

Cummings was similarly enthused regarding the new venture, "The three Magic Millions fillies arrived for their first look around Randwick yesterday and I was very impressed; they have great attitudes and took to their new surroundings in a professional manner. JHB are leading the way with their two-year-olds, and these fillies look very much like early runners. I'm tremendously excited to join the team."

Heading to James Cummings are the I Am Invincible filly out of P.J Bell stakes winner Rich Megadale, a Redoute's Choice filly from the well-related Lago Ovation, the Hinchinbrook filly out of Not A Single doubt mare Liamena, and the Choisir filly from a sister to Flying Pegasus, Paymistress.
