Vieira Yearlings for Classic

Tara Madgwick - Thursday February 9
It's been a busy week for Sydney owner / breeder Bert Vieira with a trip to the winner's circle at the Beaumont track in Newcastle last Saturday with homebred two year-old Trapeze Artist and a draft of five youngsters to be offered at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale by the Vieira Group.

Prepared by Gerald Ryan, Snitzel colt Trapeze Artist was easy in the betting, but raced away to score an easy two length win to the great delight of Mr Vieira who was on hand to watch his colt return to scale.

Passed in shy of his reserve at Inglis Easter, Trapeze Artist was retained to race, which is looking like a blessing in disguise!

As every breeder knows, you cannot keep them all, so Mr Vieira will offer the following selection at Inglis Classic.

Second foal of Group III SAJC South Australia Fillies Classic from the family of Choisir's multiple Group I winning son Olympic Glory, now a regular shuttler to Arrowfield Stud.
