Torryburn Celebrate Another Win for Deploy

Tara Madgwick - Sunday February 5
Gelded before this preparation, blue blooded Fastnet Rock four year-old Deploy went on his winning way at Randwick on Saturday racking up his fourth straight win with a stylish victory.

DeployPrepared by Gerald Ryan, Deploy (image Steve Hart) had good form around Group and stakes winners last season at three such as Le Romain, Southern Legend and Sooboog, so has always had the talent and has now found the conviction required to win races

He surged late for James Innes Jr to score a half length victory in the Benchmark 82 event over 1400 metres under 59 kg.

A $450,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Torryburn Stud draft, Deploy runs for a syndicate that includes his breeder Torryburn Stud in whose colours he runs as well as Segenhoe Thoroughbreds and Stallion Racing.

With five wins and five placings from 11 starts and prizemoney nearing $250,000, Deploy has always been consistent and could easily step up to stakes level this year.

He is one of three winners from four foals to race from Group III winning Red Ransom (USA) mare Crimson Reign, who produced a lovely colt by Smart Missile last year and was subsequently covered by Pride of Dubai.

Next sale on the agenda for Torryburn Stud is the 2017 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale where they will offer half a dozen youngsters, click here to see them.
