Shadwell Debut Winner Sold by Newhaven Park

Tara Madgwick - Saturday February 4
The powerful Hayes / Dabernig stable produced an impressive debut juvenile winner at Morphettville on Saturday in Sanadaat, a $300,000 Magic Millions purchase for Shadwell Australia from the Newhaven Park draft.

Sanadaat as a yearlingEasy in the market, she had no trouble dispatching the favourites in the 1000 metre scamper, forging clear to win by nearly three lengths in a dominant display.

Bred and offered for sale by Newhaven, Sanadaat is bred to be up and going as she is by renowned two year-old sire Not a Single Doubt from unraced It's Fun, a daughter of brilliant juvenile stakes-winner Unison and half-sister to the dam of two time Champion Singapore Sprinter Zac Spirit.

This is also the family of dual Group I winner Melito and last Saturday's Group III winning juvenile Pariah, who are both by Not a Single Doubt's sire Redoute's Choice.

Newhaven Park sold the full brother to Sanadaat at the Magic Millions last month for $350,000 to Aquis/ Blue Sky/ Michael Freedman.

It's Fun produced a filly last spring by Newhaven Park's promising young sire Delago Deluxe.

Newhaven Park will be selling at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale next week presenting a draft of nine youngsters including a half-brother to last week's very impressive Sandown maiden winner That Rings a Bell. Click here to see the draft.
