Brother to Rising Sprint Star for Karaka

A rising sprint star for the John Size stable in Hong Kong, exciting Kiwi bred four year-old DB Pin posted his third successive win at Sha Tin on Tuesday making a timely update for his full brother headed to Karaka.

DB Pin - Grant CourtneyThe talented son of Darci Brahma bolted away to win the Class Three sprint over 1000 metres by nearly three lengths and has the impressive record of three wins and two seconds from just five starts.

DB Pin was a $200,000 NZB Premier purchase from The Oaks Stud draft for renowned bloodstock agent John Foote.

He is a half-brother to stakes-winner Asavant and is the third winner from Group III wining Pins mare Pins 'n' Needles.

The Oaks Stud will offer another colt by Darci Brahma as Lot 338 at the 2017 NZB Premier Yearling Sale.
