Quality Broodmares and Yearlings Cataloged for 2017 Keeneland January Sale

Australasian horsemen would be wise to pay attention to the quality broodmares, broodmare prospects and yearlings cataloged for Keeneland's January Horses of All Ages Sale, to be held in Lexington, Kentucky on January 9-13, 2017.

The January Sale affords breeders the opportunity to replenish or upgrade their broodmare bands with top-class mares in foal to premier stallions and numerous young broodmare prospects.

Among the 173 covering stallions are American Pharoah, Awesome Again, Bernardini, Bodemeister, Candy Ride (ARG), City Zip, Declaration of War, Distorted Humor, Gemologist, Ghostzapper, Honor Code, Into Mischief, Kitten's Joy, Liam's Map, Malibu Moon, Medaglia d'Oro, More Than Ready, Orb, Pioneer of the Nile, Shanghai Bobby, Speightstown, Tapit, Tapizar, Tonalist, Twirling Candy, Uncle Mo, Union Rags, Verrazano and Violence.

The January Sale also is a proven market for quality yearlings.
