gavelhouse.com NZ Catalogue Online

Media Release - Wednesday December 7
New Zealand's latest gavelhouse catalogue is online now with bidding open until 7pm Monday 12 December.

Among the 14 horses offered in the gavelhouse.com catalogue  is some great value with unreserved lots including Lot 2, a two-year-old Rip Van Winkle filly offered by Mapperley Stud under the Liens Act. The filly's full brother fetched $320,000 as a yearling while she holds good residual value as a broodmare in the future.

Windsor Park Stud's Rip Van Winkle has some classy performers on both sides of the Tasman with the likes of stakes winners Euro Angel and First Impressions in Australia and Capella and Larsala in New Zealand.

He's also the sire of nine stakes-winners in the Northern Hemisphere including Gr.1 Phoenix Stakes winner Dick Whittington.

MuchadoAlso unreserved is the Mastercraftsman mare Muchado who is offered with her colt by five-time Group One winner Jimmy Choux at foot (pictured).

At Lot 13, the colt is described as having a great walk and in time he should develop into an impressive physical type.

Comprising the rest of the catalogue is a mix of two-year-olds, unraced horses, racehorses and broodmares.

gavelhouse.com Sales and Marketing Manager Haylie Martin is on hand to assist with buyers looking to register and bid and can be contacted on +64226378127 or haylie@gavelhouse.com
