If the NSW Government thinks the state's multibillion dollar thoroughbred industry isn't important to the state, Mike Baird should just come out and say so," Dr Collins said
After six long years of assessment, 3 Planning Assessment Commission rejections of the Drayton South mine the Upper Hunter community is fed up. Premier Mike Baird needs start listening to the people of the Upper Hunter, show leadership and act decisively to implement the PAC's recommendation and protect our industries.
"The catastrophic emotional heartache this area has had to endure relating to this project – from all industry perspectives has been unwanted and unnecessary. Uncertainty in planning has and always will be detrimental to everyone involved," Mr Thomas Horden, President of the Upper Hunter Wine Makers told the PAC.
