One
of the more interesting winners at scone on Thursday was the half-brother to
2006 Caulfield Cup winner Tawqeet.
Trained by Paul Messara and sporting the Arrowfield colours, three year-old Redoute’s
Choice gelding Caerless Choice made it three wins in as many starts when scoring
narrowly over 1600 metres as favourite.
He’s probably no champion, but he likes winning and does his best, which is a
big positive in a racehorse.
Recorded as a $200,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Arrowfield draft for
Badgers Bloodstock, Caerless Choice is one of seven winners from Caerless
(IRE), who died in 2015.
