The
juvenile maiden at Sunshine Coast on Wednesday featured a trifecta for perennial
grey sire Bradbury's Luck with all youngsters offered by Magic Millions.
First home and favourite was the Chris Munce trained filly Skate to Paris, who
scored by a short head at her second start over Himalayan Salt and Gem of the
Lochs.
The winner was bought by her trainer for just $10,000 from the Gold Coast Magic
Millions March Sale from the draft of Wyalla Thoroughbreds Darling Downs and is
the first winner from Paris Blu.
Formerly of Glenlogan Park Stud in Queensland, Bradbury's Luck is now in
Western Australia with Yarradale Stud at a fee of $7,700.
Winner of the 2005 Magic Millions 2YO Classic, Bradbury's Luck is best known as
the sire of dashing grey WA galloper Luckygray, a triple Group I winner of the
WATC Railway Stakes (twice) and Kingston Town Classic.
