Trial Winner for All Too Hard

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday November 15
With two smart placegetters and a trial winner at Randwick on Tuesday morning, Vinery Stud's young gun All Too Hard is fast working towards his first winner.

Handsome chestnut colt Curdled stepped out for the first time in a 738 metre heat and looked a natural runner.

Curdled as a yearlingPrepared by Peter Robl for Segenhoe Thoroughbreds, Curdled found the front quickly for Tim Clark and cruised along to win under a hold by a head.

The colt was recorded as a $300,000 sale to Shadwell Australia at Magic Millions earlier this year, but was returned to his breeder in whose colours he runs.

Curdled is a half-brother to Group III winner Serene Majesty and stakes-placed Brulee being the fourth foal of stakes-winning Lonhro mare Custard.

Last Saturday at Rosehill, All Too Hard colt Groundbreak charged home for a good second to Veranillo for Team Hawkes, while Michael Freedman has had encouraging results from his All Too Hard colt Darhad, who was placed at his only two starts last month in strong Sydney Saturday races.

A champion half-brother to the mighty Black Caviar, All Too Hard has high expectation upon him and it's not hard to be positive about what we are seeing to date.
