Bidding Open on New Gavelhouse Auction

Media Release - Tuesday November 1
Bidding has started in gavelhouse's most recent New Zealand auction. 

The bulk of the offering is comprised of racing stock however there are also some youngsters on offer who've had the best start to life at Waikato Stud, representing resident sires Ocean Park, Rock 'n' Pop and O'Reilly.

Lot 1 is a yearling colt by the stud's five-time Group One winner and Cox Plate winner Ocean Park and from a
female family that boasts Group One stars as including O'Reilly, Courtza, Our Pompeii and Prince Kaapstad.
Lot 4
A filly from the last crop of the stud's champion sire O'Reilly is also on offer at Lot 4 (pictured). She and the Stud's filly at Lot 6 by their Gr.1 2000 Guineas winning son of Fastnet Rock, Rock 'n' Pop have been broken in and are ready to resume work.

All Waikato Stud Lots have been x-rayed in the past with these available for viewing by request.
Bidding is open until 7pm (NZ time) on Thursday 3 November when the sale will close on a lot by lot basis.
