Aquis
Farm's Domesday has been riding the crest of a winning wave posting nine
winners since last Saturday with his talented son Heart Starter claiming
another major prize for leading WA owner / breeders Bob and Sandra Peters in
the Group III WATC Asian Beau Stakes at Ascot on Saturday.
Trained by Grant and Alana Williams, Heart Starter was a two time stakes-winner
last season at two and has returned in top order.
He won first up from a spell at Bunbury on October 12 and was favourite for
this assignment, charging to the line to win the 1400 metre sprint by a long
head taking his overall record to five wins from 10 starts with prizemoney topping $330,000.
Heart Starter sealed an automatic start in the Group I WATC Railway Stakes on November
26 with the win so will be a horse to follow over the summer.
Heart Starter is a sibling to Group II winner and $1.4 million earner Real Love
as well as Suspicion who also won the Group III WATC Asian Beau Stakes.
He is one of 10 winners from outstanding producer and Group III winner Flaming
Heart and is her last foal as she was retired from stud duty in 2013.
Heart Starter is one of 12 stakes-winners sired by Domesday, who has been super
popular at Aquis Farm this spring at a fee of $8,800.
