Red hot sire I Am Invincible added another four winners to his tally on
Saturday including metropolitan winners Invincibella and I Am Venus and has now
sired 12 winners in seven days and 37 in the past 30.
Star Thoroughbreds and Chris Waller combined to win the opening race at
Randwick with progressive three year-old filly Invincibella, who shot away to
win over 1400 metres by nearly three lengths.
Stakes-placed twice previously from just six starts, Invincibella looms as a
certain stakes-winner in the near future for her sire.
Scoring a strong finishing debut win at Eagle Farm in Brisbane was two year-old
filly I Am Venus, who saluted by half a length over 1000 metres for the Dale
Healey stable.
I Am Venus was a $155,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Wishbone farm from the
Yarraman Park draft and is the first foal of Lis Nediym, a speedy metropolitan
winner by General Nediym.
