Bred
and retained to race by Torryburn Stud, promising Snitzel filly Diddums was in
a class of her own at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
Sent out favourite for the Benchmark 67 event over 1200 metres following a
narrow defeat at her previous start to handy filly Suspenders, the Gerald Ryan
trained Diddums led throughout and raced away to win by three and a half
lengths.
It was her second win from just four starts suggesting Diddums has a bright
future as her career unfolds.
A half-sister to stakes-placed Brettan, Diddums is one of four winners from
Raheights, a half-sister by Rahy to stakes-winners Moulin Lady and Bannock.
Raheights has foaled this spring for Torryburn Stud producing a colt by Caulfield Guineas winner Shooting
to Win.
