Trainer Mick Price advised stewards on Friday afternoon last season's Victoria Derby and Rosehill Guineas winner Tarzino had some "slight swelling" in its near foreleg and that he and a vet will assess the four-year-old in the morning before a decision is made.

Tarzino finished sixth behind Hartnell last time out in the Group I Turnbull Stakes and is currently rated a $31 chance with Sportsbet.

Kiwi mare Fanatic and Tony McEvoy's Big Memory have already been scratched elevating De Little Engine and Vengeur Masque into the field for the $3 million handicap.
