Another Bonny Mare Joins Star Supplementary

An exciting young stakes winner covered by Australia's champion sire in her first at stud will go under the hammer as a late supplementary entry for this week's Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast.

Bonny O'ReillyBonny O'Reilly, a stakes winner of eight races and earner of almost $400,000, will go under the hammer following the Book One broodmare supplementary catalogue on Friday.

A former member of the Bjorn Baker stable, Bonny O'Reilly was a star over many seasons and was a stakes winner of the Helen Coughlan Stakes at Doomben.

The mare heads to the sale in foal to Snitzel after being served by the Arrowfield Stud based champion sire on September 16 last year.

The mare has been catalogued as Lot 1940 and will be available for inspection in the Glastonbury Farms draft from Wednesday morning.

The three late supplementary broodmares from Yarraman Park Stud -Defy the Odds (dam of G1 winner Leicester in foal to Fastnet Rock), Erato (dam of G1 winner Lyre in foal to Russian Revolution) and Romany Flyer (dam of Invincible Star in foal to I Am Invincible) will also be available for inspection on Wednesday and go under the hammer on Friday.

The 2019 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale commences tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am with the highly anticipated race fillies and maiden mares section as well as stallions and stallion nominations including eight on the account of injured jockey Tye Angland.
