The first lot through the ring, a colt by the Champion First Crop Sire Kizuna (Deep Impact), is the first foal of the Group 1 BRC Oaks heroine Youngstar (High Chaparral), a half-sister to Group 1 Flight Stakes winner Funstar (Adelaide) and the blue hen Baggy Green (Galileo).

Fujita Susumu had the final say at 210milion yen (A$2,208,000) for the Northern Farm consigned bay colt.

Youngstar was a $1,400,000 purchase for Katsumi Yoshida at the 2020 Inglis Chairman’s Sale.
