Outstanding Sebring filly Egg Tart showed a blistering turn of foot in a dominant performance in Saturday's $500,000 Group I Treasury Brisbane Queensland Oaks (2200m) at Doomben.
It was a second Oaks for the Chris Waller-trained filly following her last start victory in the Group I Schweppes Oaks at Morphettville.
Ridden by Kerrin McEvoy, Egg Tart stormed home to defeat Godolphin's progressive filly Pygmy (New Approach) by one and a quarter lengths with a short neck to Oklahoma Girl (Fastnet Rock) in third place.

Waller said the Group I Epsom at Randwick in the spring was a realistic target for the daughter of Sebring.
That was the path taken by Waller's 2015 Queensland Oaks heroine Winx.
And while Waller was loathed to compare the two at similar stages of their careers, he did say Egg Tart had one trait the same as the champion.
"Her attitude, have a look at Egg Tart just standing there," Waller said
"She has just run 2200m and she is just standing there with her ears pricked.
"That's a good example of a good horse. She is not distressed and why is she not distressed?
"Just like I did with Winx, I will give her a chance to tell me where she is heading, who knows."
Kerrin MvEvoy has been on the filly at her last two starts and marvelled at her improvement.
"She has a sharp turn of foot which got me out of a tricky spot," McEvoy said.
"I was behind horses which were not going anywhere and I was wide on the corner but she had the acceleration to get me out of it.
"She attacks the line and just wants to win.
"She has been well handled by Chris. She is only going to get better. ''
Egg Tart's last four wins have come at Warwick Farm, Flemington, Morphettville at Doomben so travelling proved no problem.
Managed by Anton Koolman for The Hermitage Syndicate, Egg Tart was an inspired $40,000 purchase from the Jorson Farm draft at the second session of the 2015 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
