Given a break, the Kelly Schweida-trained filly returned to racing with an impressive victory in Saturday's $100,000 Listed JRA Bill Carter Stakes (1200m) at Doomben.

"I'm really proud to win this race," Schweida said.
"I knew Mr Bill Carter very well and he was a really passionate man.
"The alley made a big difference.
"She got into a good spot. I wish they were all like that."

"I got a lovely run, just tracked She's Our Star and peeled off coming to the corner and she let down good.
"I'm confident you did not see the best of her last prep.

Vintage Blend is a half-sister to stakes winner Vintner (Hennessy) and the Group I AJC Oaks and Group I Queen Of The Turf Stakes runner-up Perfect Drop (Quest For Fame).
Second dam Dane Vintage (Danzero) is a half-sister to the champion Triscay.
Vinery sold Vintage Blend to Belmont Bloodstock Agency for $46,000 at the 2016 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale when carrying a filly by Husson (ARG).
Vintage Blend was covered by Written Tycoon last spring.
