Sold twice, first at Oaklands in Victoria and then at Karaka in New Zealand, seven year-old Gun Pit has travelled the world competing successfully in Hong Kong and Dubai and has come home at last.

Sold as a yearling by the Smeaton's for $65,000, the son of Dubawi (IRE) proved an inspired pinhook for Mark Treweek, who re-sold him at Karaka for $250,000 to a Hong Kong buyer.

Trained by Caspar Fownes, Gun Pit proved a tough and talented campaigner winning eight races on the highly competitive circuit and placing in Group I company in Dubai.
