Front's top class Group I winning son Declaration of War (USA) is off the mark
with his first winner in the Northern Hemisphere after two year-old colt
Declarationoflove scored an easy win at Windsor in the UK on Monday.
He is not only the first winner for his sire, but also his trainer Tom Clover
and his Group III placed dam Mary's Daughter.
Third and fourth at his first two outings, Declarationoflove surged to the line
to win the five furlong contest by a length and a quarter.
"Declarationoflove is very straightforward. Everything went smoothly, they went
a good gallop and I got a lovely lead into the race and he won quite well,"
said winning rider Andrea Atzeni.
Purchased by Badgers Bloodstock for 28,000 euros at the Goffs Orby Sale,
Declarationoflove is from Mary's Daughter, whose dam is a half-sister to
champion Filly Attraction.
Declaration of War shuttled to Australia for two seasons for Coolmore and will
have his first Australian runners next season.
He is currently at Ashford Stud for Coolmore in Kentucky.
