Woodside Park Welcomes Sam Fairgray

Involved in the thoroughbred industry for 25 years, Sam brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge having worked in the role of General Manager at Newgate Farm for two years and prior to that Arrowfield for 14 years.

During his career, Sam has been involved with some of Australia's leading stallions including Redoute's Choice, Flying Spur, Snitzel, Not A Single Doubt, Foxwedge, Dissident, Capitalist and Winnng Rupert, to mention a few. Sam has also been involved with the rearing and sale of many Group 1 winners including, Miss Finland, Mentality, and Forensics.

We are delighted to have Sam join the leadership team of Woodside Park. The scale of our operations continue to grow and having Sam join the team will add significant expertise and experience to our management group and the Woodside Park brand, said Mark Rowsthorn, Principal of Woodside Park.

"Sam's skills are well known throughout the industry, he has a terrific history with two iconic stud operations in Newgate and of course Arrowfield."

Sam is equally excited about the opportunity to become a member of the Woodside Park team.

"In recent years, I have been fortunate to have worked on two Australian Stud farms that are recognised Internationally. The knowledge and experience I have gained from working at these farms will assist in the future of Woodside Park's development."
