Inglis Digital Launch New Online Auctions

Media Release - Wednesday April 26

Inglis Digital is thrilled to launch its new monthly online auction platform, with the first sale to take place in May 2017.

The inaugural online auction will open for bidding at 3pm on Friday May 26 and close at 5pm the following Wednesday, May 31.

Each sale thereafter will close on the last Wednesday of the month with the catalogue opening for bidding the Friday before.

Entries will be accepted for each sale up until two days prior to its opening.

The monthly online auctions will be replacing all Inglis Sydney mixed sales.

Inglis Digital Business Manager Nick Melmeth was confident the online auctions would prove a success for all participants.

"They offer vendors and buyers a simple and convenient service for trading all facets of bloodstock through a trusted name with a wealth of experience,'' Melmeth said.

"Both vendors and buyers alike can take comfort out of the fact that the new online selling format is backed by the tried and true services of a regular Inglis sale, the only difference being the sale ring is now at your fingertips.''

"As part of a registered auction house Inglis Digital will provide all of the regular administration services for transferring horse identification documents and ownership, as well as providing guaranteed payment to vendors for completed sales.

"This is something that no other online bloodstock sale currently offers.''

To enter a horse or register to bid visit www.inglisdigital.com and simply follow the step by step process to create an account.

Entries for the first sale are now open and as a grand opening offer to vendors, the regular entry fee of $199 per listing has been waived.

A flat rate of 5% commission is applicable to all completed sales with no "pass in" commission payable.

Once an account has been created, interested buyers simply apply for bidding approval on each month's sale or vendors can log in to enter a horse all through the one account. Account holders for the existing Inglis Online bidding service will be able to use their current login details to access the services available.

As an added service to give vendors every opportunity of selling their horse, listings that are not sold at the close of each sale will become available for offer through Inglis Digital's Bloodstock.com.au platform at no additional charge.
