Carrazzo “Great Southern Tax Seminar” Set For Melbourne

Breednet - Tuesday April 18
They say that "charity begins at home", but as far as Carrazzo Consulting running its renowned horse tax seminars in its home town of Melbourne, this regrettably has been far from the truth in the past few years.

2009 is the last year Carrazzo Consulting ran a horse tax seminar in Melbourne and there has been no shortage of Victorians that have reminded us, especially in the past 12 months! Aside from the NT, we have run a horse tax talk in every state of Australia since 2009, in fact multiple times in breeding and racing hubs such NSW, QLD & WA.

Special focus on Business start-ups

Not only will the Melbourne seminar drought end in June 2017, but it will do so in special fashion as we intend to change the format of this Melbourne talk to mostly accommodate horse players wanting to start-up a horse business. In recent years, we have never had such a demand in assisting local and international players with new business start-ups within Australia.

Planning is in the early stages, but what we can reveal is that the talk will be held at The William Inglis Oaklands Junction sales complex on Friday 16 June, at a time coinciding with the annual Inglis "Great Southern Sale", which is due to start a few days later on Sunday 18 June.

The talk will cover off on the valuable topics for those starting a horse business, including:

Business or Hobby
Tax Structuring
Tax losses rules
Business Plans & Budgeting
Tax implications for hobbyists converting to a business
Land Tax Exemptions
BAS Returns & GST
Stock write-downs
Common Tax Deductions

Paul Carrazzo and new Carrazzo Consulting salaried partner, Bill Mavropoulos, will jointly present this talk.
