Snitzel tops 2017 Arrowfield Stud roster

On the back of setting a record gross for an Australian Easter Yearling Sale vendor last week Arrowfield Stud has announced its 2017 stallion fees.

Snitzel has sired 24 stakes winners already this season and has earned an increase to $176,000 - up from $110,000 in 2016, now more expensive than his sire Redoute's Choice, who will cover his 18th book of mares at $137,500, having stood at $110,000 since 2014.

Not A Single Doubt is another to have an increase, up from $71,500 last season to $88,000 in 2017.

The stud will stand 13 stallions including three for their first-season in Maurice, Shalaa and Mikki Isle.
