Casino Wizard Provides Timely Update

The Listed SAJC Matrice Stakes at Morphettville on Monday was won by consistent six year-old Casino Wizard, whose yearling half-sister will be offered at the Adelaide Magic Millions on Wednesday.

Trained by Lee Creek, Casino Wizard was a last start winner of the Listed SAJC Christmas Handicap on Boxing Day and resumed from a short freshen up in top form.

Hew surged late to win the 1200 metre sprint by half a length, taking his overall record to 14 wins from 38 starts with prizemoney topping $400,000.

Casino Wizard is by former shuttler Any Given Saturday (USA) and is from Casino Nights, whose current yearling, a filly (pictured below) by Atomic, will be offered by Barrine Thoroughbreds as Lot 352 at the Adelaide Magic Millions.
