Promising
New Approach (IRE) filly Gogo Grace resumed from a spell with an easy victory
at Morphettville last Saturday and will seek Black Type in coming weeks which
could provide a real boost for her yearling half-brother headed to the 2017 Inglis
Australian Easter Yearling Sale next month for Mill Park.
Prepared by Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas, Gogo Grace competed against some
of the better fillies last spring, but looks a much stronger filly this time
around.
She couldn't have been more impressive in cruising clear to win the 1100 metre
sprint by two and three-quarter lengths against older mares.
It was her second win from seven starts and the best is still to come.
Bred by Harry Perks and retained to race in partnership, Gogo Grace is the
first winner for stakes-winner Starmon, whose current yearling colt by Medaglia
D'Oro (USA) will be offered as Lot
371 by Mill Park at Inglis Easter.
