Making an impressive winning debut at Scottsville in South Africa on Wednesday was two year-old Sepoy filly Touch of Magic.

Touch of Magic as a yearlingPrepared by Paul Lafferty, she cruised home to win over 1000 metres by three and three-quarter lengths.

A $75,000 Magic Millions purchase for her trainer from the Amarina Farm draft, Touch of Magic is the first winner from Group II winner Moccasin Bend.

The current yearling from Moccasin Bend, a colt by Not a Single Doubt, was sold at Magic Millions earlier this year through the draft of Attunga Stud fetching $725,000 to the bid of Shadwell.
