Tara Madgwick - Wednesday, 1 March 2017
Invincible might have stolen the headlines at the 2017 Inglis Premier Yearling
Sale with his $1,4 million colt from Soorena but at the end of the day it was
Darley stalwart Lonhro that headed the sire averages.
Lonhro had just four entries for the sale, buy they all sold well with Blue Gum
Farm's colt from Original Choice his top seller at $440,000.
Bought by Aquanita Racing he is a brother to Group III placed Brockoff and is
from an unraced Redoute's Choice daughter of Group II winner Innovation Girl.
Snitzel and I Am Invincible were next on the list, the latter generating a
whopping $4,275,000 to be the leading sire by aggregate.
