I Am Invincible Leads Premier Sires

Tara Madgwick - Monday February 27
After one session of the 2017 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, Yarraman Park's I Am Invincible has taken an early lead on the sire averages with five youngsters averaging $210,000.

Top seller for I am Invincible was a dashing grey filly from Members Joy that was offered by Swettenham Stud and bought by Paul Moroney Bloodstock for $320,000.

She is the first foal of Members Joy, a young stakes-winning daughter of Hussonet (USA) from the family of brilliant Group winning fillies Rosa's Spur and Rosa's Joy.

With some lovely types entered in the Blue Riband section, Coolmore's Epsom Derby winner Camelot (GB) enjoyed good results to lead the first season sire averages.

His best result came with a colt from Miss With Attitude that made $280,000 for Mill Park when secured by Hewyood Bloodstock/ Mayfair Speculators.

The Champion 3YO Colt of 2012, Camelot stood for just one season at Coolmore Australia in 2014.
