Buyers Always Come Back

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday February 21
When you sell a Cox Plate winner at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, buyers will always come back to see your draft, particularly when it features a half-sister by Written Tycoon to a Group I winner.

One of the leading broodmare farms in Victoria's north east, Millford Thoroughbreds achieved that feat when selling Pinker Pinker in 2009 for $120,000 to Greg Eurell. The daughter of Reset went on to win $2.6 million in prizemoney proving herself as one of the best horses of her time.

She's not the only Group I winner sold by Millford Thoroughbreds at Inglis Premier with 2016 Group I WATC Railway Stakes winner Scales of Justice plucked from their 2014 draft for $180,000 by Boomer Bloodstock / Lindsey Smith. The four year-old son of Not a Single Doubt has not missed a place in 14 starts and has raked in over $1.1 million in prizemoney.

The Millford Thoroughbreds draft for the 2017 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale features nine youngsters as listed below with a mixture of Super VOBIS and BOBS eligible horses including several that are qualified for both schemes.
