So
You Think has been churning out the winners this month and gave us a One to
Watch from Pakenham on Thursday with a maiden win for the half-sister to a much
loved sprinting star.
Giant sprinter Hay List had the misfortune to be racing in the Black Caviar era
and consequently saw a lot of her back end, but when he was able to escape the
champion mare managed to land Group I victories in the ATC All Aged Stakes, VRC
Newmarket Handicap and MVRC Manikato Stakes.
His three year-old half-sister Miss Siska opened her account with a tenacious neck
win over 1200 metres at her second start.
A certainty beaten on debut at Sale earlier this month, the Tony Noonan trained
filly made no mistakes this time in leading throughout and fighting on to
score.
Passed in at Inglis Easter and retained to race by the Davenport family, who
also bred and raced Hay List, Miss Siska is the sixth winner from Sing
Hallelujah.
Vinery Stud as agent will offer the current yearling from Sing Hallelujah, a colt
by More Than Ready (USA) at Inglis Easter this year as Lot 457.
