Who Can Win the $100,000 Newgate Classic Bonus?

Newgate Farm offered a $100,000 bonus at the 2017 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale to be paid to the recorded buyer of any yearling by our young guns Sizzling, The Factor (USA) or Eurozone that can return and win the Inglis Classic Race in 2018, so who is in the running to take home that bonus?.

A Group I winning two year-old by Snitzel, Sizzling had 18 yearlings sell for up to $150,000, his top seller a filly from Dandy Warhols that was bought by Gollan Racing/ John Foote Bloodstock.

Sizzling had a further four yearlings sell for $100,000 or more bought by China Horse Club, McEvoy Mitchell Racing, Snowden Racing and up and coming trainer Kurt Goldman

Denise Martin's Star Thoroughbreds have also given themselves a chance to win purchasing a colt from Matineeidol for $50,000.

Already the sire of a Group I winning two year-old in North America, The Factor had seven yearlings sell for up to $65,000.



His equal top sellers, a colt from Angel's Breath and a filly from Celtic Sea were bought by Sydney based David Payne Racing and Mick Kent Racing from Melbourne.

Leading Canberra trainer Barb Joseph and her co-trainer son Paul Jones can get a two year-old up and running and paid $50,000 for a colt by The Factor from Our Miss Donovan.

An undefeated two year-old by Champion First Season Sire Northern Meteor, Eurozone had 18 yearlings sell for up to $80,000.

Matthew Sandblom's Horse Ventures signed for the top seller, a colt from Winged Medusa while Kilgravin Lodge bought a colt from Beaver Rocks for $55,000 and Warwick Farm trainer Ron Leemon picked up a colt from Storm of Fire for $52,500.
