Fastnet Flyer Part of a Magnificent Seven

Media Release - Thursday February 16
There was an across-the-card four-timer for graduates of Coolmore Australia on Wednesday, made up of a stylish juvenile winner for the Lindsay Park team and a trio of promising three year-old winners.

All this just a couple of days after the mighty Winx had rounded out a group race treble for graduates of the farm for a second consecutive weekend.

"In our top bunch" is how co-trainer Ben Hayes described Sandown two year-old winner Justice Glory .

Justice Glory with her dam Tavarnelle at CoolmoreNow bound for the Group III Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes at Flemington, the Michael and Gail Crismale bred Justice Glory joins the likes of other Coolmore graduates Catchy ( Group II winner) and Formality ( Group III winner) amongst the eight juvenile winners by Fastnet Rock so far from his 2014 crop.

Also at Sandown, the progressive Smerdon-trained three year-old Theanswermyfriend , a son of High Chaparral, signalled promise for the Autumn with a dominant performance over 1400m.

At Randwick, talented colt I Thought So joined the long list of So You Think progeny gearing up for a productive Autumn with a classy win over 1200m at just his second start.

Trainer David Pfieffer has stakes races in mind for the handsome colt and it wouldn't surprise were he to join the likes of La Diosa , So Si Bon , Kaching , Inference , Northwest Passage and Smart As You Think as black-type progeny of his sire in the near future.

Black-type also looks on the agenda for the Anthony Cummings trained Ma Tante following her powerful performance over 1100m on the same card. The Uncle Mo filly will be looking to join stablemates Moqueen and Man From Uncle (who is bound for this Saturday's Group II Hobartville Stakes) as stakes winning progeny of her sire at some point through the Autumn.

"The year has started off incredibly well for graduates of the farm as results over the last few days demonstrate," said Coolmore Australia Bloodstock Sales Manager Shane McGrath.

" Winx won her 16th stakes race at Randwick on Monday, while Ektifaa , who was foaled and weaned on the farm for Winx 's breeders John and Deb Camilleri, won in Group III company in South Africa to complete a group race treble for farm graduates. Catchy had brought up the first leg of the treble when winning the Blue Diamond (Fillies) Prelude Group II on Saturday and is now favourite for the Group I Blue Diamond ahead of other Coolmore graduates Formality and Tulip . Last week we were celebrating a group race treble with Formality , Man From Uncle and Supreme Profit , so the success really does speak volumes for the farm and our team, while it's also hugely rewarding for our clients. "

Progeny of Coolmore sires such as Fastnet Rock, Pierro, So You Think, Choisir, Declaration Of War and Camelot will be on offer at the upcoming Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, while Coolmore Australia has a draft of 32 yearlings catalogued for the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale in April.
