Breaking
her maiden with a resounding victory at Murray Bridge on Wednesday was
promising Helmet filly Flying Pan, whose half-sister will be offered by Bowness
Stud at the 2017 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.
A $35,000 Inglis Easter Session II purchase from the Bowness Stud draft for
Wylie Dalziel Racing, the Phillip Stokes trained Flying Pan left her rivals for
dead when bolting away to win over 1400 metres by three and three-quarter
lengths.
Third at her only two previous starts, she was a well backed favourite and will
be winning more races.
Bowness Stud will offer her half-sister by Epsom Derby winner Camelot (GB) asLot 135. She is the fifth foal of winning Lonhro mare Pan's Flute, whose first
three foals to race are now all winners!
