Triple Crown and Gai Waterhouse/ Adrian Bott Enter Exciting New Partnership

Media Release - Wednesday February 8
AUSTRALIA'S most successful racehorse syndicator of recent years has joined forces with the country's most successful female trainer to form a new powerful partnership within Australian racing.

Triple Crown Syndications are delighted to announce they will be racing horses under Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott at their Tulloch Lodge stables following an agreement finalised between the two parties.

The partnership will see yearlings recently acquired from the Magic Millions sale be placed with Gai and Adrian as well as yearlings bought at forthcoming sales.

Triple Crown Syndications will remain the exclusive syndicator for Peter and Paul Snowden's Randwick stable and all active syndicates will remain with their respective trainers. Triple Crown will continue to place a significant number of new yearlings with the highly-respected father and son partnership.

Triple Crown Syndications have triumphed with 18 Group-race wins since 2010 including multiple Group 1 winners, with this opportunity providing a new quality alternative for those wishing to race a horse with the First Lady of Racing.

Gai Waterhouse sits third on the all-time list of trainers with the most Group 1 wins having secured 136 successes at the highest level. In 2015 she equaled the record of her father, TJ Smith, as the most-winning trainer of the Group 1 Golden Slipper when champion colt Vancouver struck for her sixth success in the race.

Gai Waterhouse expressed her pleasure at the prospect of training for Triple Crown Syndications and their owners: "I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to train for Triple Crown Syndications," she said. "They have a terrific record, both on the track and with their client communications, and I very much look forward to being part of their successful team."

Triple Crown director Chris Ward, who was previously involved in racing two-time Group 1-winning mare Lotteria with Gai Waterhouse, expressed his delight at the partnership.

"Gai is one of Australia's most successful trainers," he said. "We are delighted to reach this agreement to place some of our newly recruited yearlings in her care. Her operation continues to go from strength to strength following the promotion of Adrian Bott as co-trainer and we look forward to working alongside them in achieving further Group-race success, which is what every owner of racehorses craves."

"We believe this provides a fantastic opportunity for our owners to race a horse with one of Australia's most decorated and charismatic racing personalities."
