the growing list of smart three year-old winners for Newgate Farm's young sire Foxwedge
is Adelaide based Arizona Wildcat, a bargain $16,000 Inglis Classic purchase
for her trainer Lloyd Kennewell from the Bowness Stud draft.
A maiden winner at Morphettville on December 16, Arizona Wildcat was third at
her next start before winning again at Morphettville on January 21.
Set a similar task at the same venue on Saturday she repeated her performance
and has now won three of her past four starts earning close to $70,000 in
prizemoney.
Bred and sold by Bowness Stud, Arizona Wildcat is the second winner for Pure
Intentions, a half-sister to Group III winner Cute Emily and to the dam of Hong
Kong Derby winner Luger and Group III winner Psychologist.
The sire of Group II winners Volpe Veloce and Foxplay as well as stakes-winner
