Star Coolmore Entries for Inaugural Inglis Chairman’s Sale

A superbly bred young mare in foal to world champion racehorse and Group I sire Frankel and a stakes winning daughter of Fastnet Rock in foal to Golden Slipper winner Vancouver are just two of the highlight lots in Coolmore's outstanding draft for Inglis' inaugural The Chairman's Sale.

Close To My Heart, a three quarter sister to Group II winner Admiralofthefleet and granddaughter of blue hen mare Coup de Folie has been covered by Europe's sire of the moment Frankel to Southern Hemisphere time.

Harlem RiverStakes winning Fastnet Rock mare Harlem River is being offered in foal to Golden Slipper-winner Vancouver in her first season at stud. A brilliant juvenile Harlem River raced only six times, in which she earned a cheque on five occasions.

Coolmore's entries for The Chairman's Sale come on top of Provocative, a Group I winning filly who won four of her eight races and will be offered by Newgate Farm.

Positioned either side of the time-honoured Australian Easter Yearling Sale and The Championships, The Chairman's Sale will be held over two sessions at Inglis' Newmarket complex, a week apart, in the middle of what is already a thriving Sydney autumn carnival.

The Chairman's Sale Session I – Elite Racing Prospects – will be held on Thursday night, March 30, just prior to Day 1 of The Championships.

The Chairman's Sale Session II – Elite Breeding Prospects – will take place on Friday night, April 7, the day after the conclusion of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
