More Stakes Success for Sir Moments

Winner of the Group II BRC Queensland Guineas at three, talented Choisir gelding Sir Moments recaptured his best form to win the $100,000 Sunshine Coast Cup on Saturday.

ChoisirTrained by Steven O'Dea for a big syndicate of Proven Thoroughbreds owners, Sir Moments was strong at the finish to claim a short neck win in the 1400 metre feature.

A $40,000 Magic Millions purchase for Proven Thoroughbreds from the draft of Widden Stud, Sir Moments has won nine of 26 starts earning over $800,000 in prizemoney and was bred by Gooree Stud.

He is the first winner for Colourful Moments, a half-sister by Zabeel to stakes-winner Magsaya from the family of Group I winner Princess Talaria.
