The
last crop of two year-olds by champion sire Street Cry (IRE) are stepping out
this season and include this impressive debut winner for Godolphin at Canterbury
on Friday night.
Prepared by John O'Shea, two year-old colt Marsupial was favourite for the 1200
metre maiden and sped away to win by more than two lengths.
He is the first winner for stakes-winning Exceed and Excel mare Koala Bear, a
grand-daughter of Group II AJC Villiers Stakes winner Arletty from the family
of star Kiwi four year-old Xtravagant.
Koala Bear has a yearling filly by Lonhro, a colt foal by Shooting to Win and
was covered last year by Street Boss (USA).
