A half-sister to first-season sire Dundeel made a winning debut in Australia at Scone on Sunday.
Forreel, trained by Bjorn Baker, narrowly won the 1300-metre maiden event after five winless starts back in New Zealand.
The daughter of Nom Du Jeu was ridden by Chad Lever, who told Sky Racing that the mare is similar in physique to her pocket-sized brother.
"There's not much to her," Lever said.
"She is small and lean and still pretty green but she did the job."
Dundeel's first progeny through the sale ring created a big impression at the recently concluded Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.
His colt out of Golden Slipper winner Miss Finland was knocked down for $900,000 and will also be trained by Baker at Warwick Farm.
In total, 10 yearlings by Dundeel were sold, at an average price of $272,500.
